नई दिल्ली। भारत के उपराष्ट्रपति एम वेंकैया नायडू ने भाषाओं के संरक्षण के लिए जनांदोलन की जरूरत बताई है। नायडू ने कहा है कि हमारी भाषा परंपराओं के लाभों को आने वाली पीढ़ियों तक पहुंचाने के लिए, आज सरकार के प्रयासों के साथ ही, अपनी भाषाओं के संरक्षण के लिए एक जन आंदोलन की आवश्यकता है। कई पीढ़ियों और भौगोलिक क्षेत्रों के निवासियों को आपस में जोड़े रखने में भाषा की शक्ति पर प्रकाश डालते हुए, उपराष्ट्रपति ने भाषाओं, संस्कृतियों और परंपराओं को संरक्षित, समृद्ध और प्रचारित करने के लिए एक ठोस प्रयास करने का आह्वान किया। छठे वार्षिक राष्ट्रेतर तेलुगू समाख्या सम्मेलन में बोलते हुए, नायडू ने सुझाव दिया कि तेलुगु भाषा के लिए और हमारी स्थानीय परंपराओं के पुनरोद्धार के लिए तेलुगू लोगों को एक साथ आना चाहिए।
उपराष्ट्रपति नायडू ने सलाह दी कि यह प्रत्येक व्यक्ति का कर्तव्य है कि वह अन्य भाषाओं और संस्कृतियों को कम किए बिना अपनी मातृभाषा को संरक्षित करे और बढ़ावा दें। नायडू ने राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति, 2020 की परिकल्पना के अनुसार प्राथमिक शिक्षा को अपनी मातृभाषा में होने की आवश्यकता को भी रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान में राष्ट्रपति, उपराष्ट्रपति, प्रधानमंत्री और भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश सहित देश के सर्वोच्च संवैधानिक पदों पर बैठे व्यक्तियों की प्राथमिक शिक्षा उनकी मातृभाषा में हुई थी।
एम वेंकैया नायडू ने कहा, लोगों को यह गलत धारणा नहीं बनानी चाहिए कि यदि कोई अपनी मातृभाषा में पढ़ाई करता है तो वह सफल नहीं हो सकता और जीवन में आगे नहीं बढ़ सकता। इसका खंडन करने के लिए हमारे पास अतीत और वर्तमान के कई उदाहरण हैं।
New Delhi. The Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu has called for a mass movement for the preservation of languages. Naidu said that in order to pass on the benefits of our language traditions to the coming generations, today along with the efforts of the government, there is a need for a mass movement for the preservation of our languages. Highlighting the power of language in connecting residents of multiple generations and geographies, the Vice President called for a concerted effort to preserve, enrich and propagate languages, cultures and traditions. Speaking at the 6th Annual Non-National Telugu Samakhya Conference, Naidu suggested that the Telugu people should come together for the Telugu language and for the revival of our local traditions.
Vice President Naidu advised that it is the duty of every individual to preserve and promote their mother tongue without diminishing other languages and cultures. Naidu also underlined the need for primary education to be in one's mother tongue as envisaged by the National Policy on Education, 2020. He said that at present, the people holding the highest constitutional posts of the country including the President, Vice President, Prime Minister and Chief Justice of India had their primary education in their mother tongue.
M Venkaiah Naidu said, people should not create a false impression that if one studies in his mother tongue he cannot be successful and move ahead in life. To refute this we have many examples from past and present.
