भोपाल। शाहजहां और उनकी बेगम मुमताज की बहू बिल्किस जहां के मकबरे को 50 साल बाद फिर पर्यटकों के लिए खोल दिया गया है। 389 साल पुरानी ईरानी स्थापत्य कला को देखने के लिए पर्यटकों के लिए शुक्रवार को खोला गया। प्रशासन की ओर से जानकारी दी गई कि इसकी मरम्मत कर मकबरे का पुराना स्वरूप लौटाया जाएगा।
मध्य प्रदेश के बुरहानपुर में 389 साल पहले उतावली नदी और ताप्ती नदी तट के बीच बिल्किस जहां का मकबरा बनाया गया था। करीब 600 वर्गफीट में मकबरे का निर्माण किया गया है। इसके जर्जर होने के कारण 1970 में केंद्रीय पुरातत्व विभाग ने इसे बंद कर दिया था। पर्यटन और पुरातत्व समिति सदस्य कमरूद्दीन फलक और मोहम्मद नौशाद ने मकबरा खुलवाने की मांग की थी। कलेक्टर प्रवीणसिंह ने एडीएम शैलेंद्र सोलंकी को मामला सौंपा। बताया जाता है कि एडीएम सोलंकी ने केंद्रीय पुरातत्व सहायक संरक्षक विपुल मेश्राम से इस संबंध में वार्ता कर जरूरी कार्रवाई करने को कहा। उन्होंने बताया कि मकबरे की मरम्मत कराकर केमिकल से धुलाई की जाएगी। इससे मकबरे का पुराना स्वरूप लौटेगा। बहुत जल्द यहां पक्का रोड बनाया जाएगा। इससे पर्यटकों को आवाजाही में सुविधा होगी।
शाही घराने की बहू बिल्किस जहां का जन्म 1616 ईस्वी में अजमेर में हुआ था। शाहजहां के बेटे शाहशुजा से उनका निकाह हुआ था। बिल्किस को बेगमशुजा के नाम से भी जाना जाता था। बुरहानपुर में 1632 ईस्वी में उनका इंतकाल हुआ। यहां मकबरा बनाकर इसमें उनके शव को दफ्न किया गया। मकबरा राष्ट्रीय स्मारक है। मकबरे का आकार खरबूजे की तरह है। इसलिए इसे खरबूजा गुंबद भी कहा जाता है। ईरानी स्थापत्य शैली से बना यह मकबरा आज भी आकर्षण का केंद्र है। मकबरे में आकर्षक रंगीन नक्काशी है।
Bhopal. The tomb of Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz's daughter-in-law, Bilkis Jahan, has been reopened for tourists after 50 years. The 389-year-old Iranian architecture was opened on Friday for tourists to see. It was informed by the administration that after repairing it, the old form of the tomb would be returned.
Bilkis Jahan's tomb was built 389 years ago in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh between the banks of the Utawali River and the Tapti River. The tomb has been constructed in about 600 square feet. Due to its dilapidation, it was closed by the Central Archaeological Department in 1970. Tourism and Archaeological Committee members Kamruddin Falak and Mohammad Naushad had demanded the opening of the tomb. Collector Praveen Singh handed over the matter to ADM Shailendra Solanki. It is said that ADM Solanki asked the Central Archaeological Assistant Conservator Vipul Meshram to take necessary action after holding talks in this regard. He told that the tomb would be repaired and washed with chemicals. This will return the old form of the tomb. Very soon a pucca road will be built here. This will facilitate the movement of tourists.
Bilkis Jahan, the daughter-in-law of the royal family, was born in Ajmer in 1616 AD. She was married to Shah Jahan's son Shah Shuja. Bilkis was also known as Begum Shuja. He died in Burhanpur in 1632 AD. His body was buried in it by making a tomb here. The tomb is a national monument. The shape of the tomb is like a melon. That's why it is also called Melon Dome. This tomb made of Iranian architectural style is still the center of attraction today. The tomb has attractive colorful carvings.
