रियाद। भारत के लाखों लोगों को रोजगार और काम के अवसर देने वाले सऊदी अरब ने सोमवार से कोविड महामारी के मद्देनजर पिछले साल लगाए गए यात्रा प्रतिबंध को हटा लिया है लेकिन यह भारत सहित 13 देशों पर लागू रहेगा। सऊदी अरब ने कहा है कि वह पाकिस्तान समेत कई देशों पर लगाए गए यात्रा प्रतिबंध को हटा रहा है लेकिन भारत से आने वाले यात्रियों पर यह जारी रहेगा। सऊदी अरब ने पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान की यात्रा के बाद यह प्रतिबंध हटाया है।
मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, सऊदी अरब के आंतरिक मंत्रालय ने घोषणा की कि 17 मई को सभी सीमाओं - वायु, भूमि और समुद्र को पूरी तरह से खोल दिया जाएगा। यह कहा गया है कि सऊदी अरब उन लोगों के साथ यात्रा करने की अनुमति देगा, जिन्हें कोविड टीके मिले थे और जो छह महीने से कम समय में संक्रमण से उबर चुके थे। 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र के नागरिक यात्रा कर सकते हैं, यदि उनके पास स्वास्थ्य बीमा पॉलिसी है जो कोरोना वायरस से संबंधित जोखिमों को कवर करती है।

सऊदी प्राधिकारियों ओर से जानकारी दी गई है कि वैक्सीनेट हो चुके यात्रियों के साथ-साथ आधिकारिक प्रतिनिधिमंडलों के साथ-साथ राजनयिकों और उनके साथ रहने वाले उनके परिवारों को भी क्वारंटीन से बाहर रखा जाएगा। लेकिन टीका लगाए गए व्यक्तियों को छोड़कर, दूसरी श्रेणियों को घरेलू क्वारंटीन से गुजरना होगा। इसमें कोरोनो वायरस के जोखिमों को कवर करने के लिए एक वैध स्वास्थ्य बीमा पॉलिसी प्राप्त करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया जाएगा।
खबरों के अनुसार, सऊदी अरब एयरलाइंस ने एक बयान में कहा कि उसने 95 हवाई अड्डों से 71 गंतव्यों के लिए उड़ानें संचालित करने की तैयारी पूरी कर ली है, जिसमें 28 घरेलू और 43 अंतरराष्ट्रीय गंतव्य शामिल हैं। नागरिक उड्डयन के सामान्य प्राधिकरण ने कहा कि सोमवार को पूरे राज्य के हवाई अड्डों पर लगभग 385 उड़ानें संचालित होने की उम्मीद है। सऊदी आंतरिक मंत्रालय ने कहा कि कई कोविड प्रभावित देशों की यात्रा, सीधे या किसी अन्य देश के माध्यम से, बिना पूर्व अनुमति के अभी भी प्रतिबंधित है। इन देशों में भारत, लीबिया, सीरिया, लेबनान, यमन, ईरान, तुर्की, आर्मेनिया, सोमालिया, कांगो लोकतांत्रिक गणराज्य, अफगानिस्तान, वेनेजुएला और बेलारूस शामिल हैं। सऊदी सरकार के इस फैसले से उन भारतीय कामगारों को झटका लगा है जो सऊदी अरब आने और यहां से भारत जाने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं। मालूम हो कि भारत के लाखों लोग सऊदी अरब में काम करते हैं। बहुत लोग निजी कारणों से भारत में अपने घर जाना चाहते हैं तो बहुत से भारत से वापस सऊदी अपने काम पर लौटना चाहते हैं। मालूम हो कि कोविड के चलते सऊदी अरब में बहुत से लोगों की नौकरी छूट गई।
