नई दिल्ली। मोदी सरकार कोरोना प्रबंधन, नागरिकों के रोजगार और जीवन बचाने के काम में पूरी तरह विफल रही है। अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान यानी एम्स के निदेश डॉ रणदीप गुलेरिया ने कहा कि जिन इलाकों में कोविड पॉजिटिविटी रेट 10 फीसदी के पार चला गया हो, वहां लॉकडाउन जरूर लगाया जाए। डॉ रणदीप गुलेरिया ने यह फॉर्मूला ऐसे वक्त सुझाया है, जब कोरोना वायरस की दूसरी लहर में नए मामलों की सुनामी सी आ गई है और कोरोना प्रबंधन में विफल सरकारें लाॅकडाउन लगा रही हैं। स्थिति को संभालने में सरकारें बुरी तरह विफल साबित हुई हैं और बेशुमार लोग सिस्टम की खामी की वजह से मर रहे हैं।
गुलेरिया ने माना कि देश का हेल्थकेयर सिस्टम सरकार द्वारा वायरस के फैलने का अनुमान लगा पाने में नाकामी की कीमत चुका रहा है। वायरस के ज्यादा संक्रामक वैरिएंट और म्यूटेंट तेजी से संक्रमण फैला रहे हैं। विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि तेजी से बढ़ते सक्रिय मरीजों का बोझ कम करने के लिए संक्रमण की चेन को तोड़ना जरूरी है। कोरोना के रोजाना के मामले भारत में मार्च के मध्य में 25 हजार के करीब थे, जो अब बढ़कर 3.5 लाख तक पहुंच गए हैं।
डॉ रणदीप गुलेरिया ने साफतौर पर कहा कि हमें दोहरी रणनीति पर काम करना होगा। पहला ये कि जल्द से जल्द अस्पतालों और अन्य जगहों पर सभी तरह की सुविधाएं इलाज के लिए मुहैया कराई जाएं। अस्पताल में बेड, दवाएं और ऑक्सीजन की किल्लत को तेजी से दूर करना होगा। दूसरा कोरोना संक्रमण के नए मामलों को कम करने पर ध्यान देना होगा। हम लंबे समय तक इतने ज्यादा एक्टिव मरीजों का बोझ नहीं सह सकते।

Dr. Randeep Guleria clearly stated that we have to work on a dual strategy. The first is that all types of facilities should be provided for treatment in hospitals and elsewhere as soon as possible. The shortage of beds, medicines and oxygen in the hospital will have to be overcome rapidly. The second would be to focus on reducing new cases of corona infection. We cannot bear the burden of so many active patients for a long time.
