प्रेम और अहिंसा Love and non-violence

यह जान लीजिए कि, प्रेम के शुद्ध, व्यापक स्वरूप का नाम अहिंसा है। जिस प्रेम में राग या मोह की गंध आती है, उसमें अहिंसा नहीं होती। जहाँ राग और मोह होते हैं, वहाँ द्वेष का बीज भी रहता ही है। प्रायः प्रेम में राग-द्वेष पाये जाते हैं, इसलिए तत्ववेत्ताओं ने प्रेम शब्द का उपयोग न कर अहिंसा शब्द की योजना की है और उसे परम धर्म कहा है। -महात्मा गांधी Know that the name of pure, comprehensive form of love is non-violence.
